Myssyfarmi took the first place of the Creative Business Cup final in Helsinki's City Hall on 16 August 2018. The three finalists, Myssyfarmi, D.I.E. Tech and Woodio, pitched each for five minutes and then responded to the strict questions and comments of the jury. The jury consisted of Head of Culture Pirjo Airaksinen Superson Oy, Startup Business Adviser Ari Seppänen from NewCo Helsinki and Expert Antti Salminen from Business Finland.

D.I.E. Tech Oy pitched a digital stage that enables real-time and dynamic effects to be created for live shows of all sizes. Woodio Oy's material is an ecological wood composite that is completely water-resistant and recyclable. Woodio's products include bathroom and kitchen furniture. Myssyfarmi Oy creates locally produced and knitted apparel from wool.

The jury saw potential in all pitches. After some discussion, Myssyfarmi was chosen as the winner because their story was particularly convincing. The powerful visualization of the pitch was also a trump card.

Myssyfarmi represents Finland in the Creative Business Cup finals in Copenhagen on November 26-27, 2018. Creative Business Cup brings together the world's best creative business ideas, with 60 participating countries. The main criteria of the competition is novelty and commercial potential.
